Axios Valuation Solutions LLC, began a monthly newsletter to appraisers on the approved panel for the purpose of communicating industry changes, providing feedback to the appraiser community and giving appraisers tips on how to avoid the most common review issues.  According to George Heredia, the Chief Review Appraiser at Axios, “the independent appraiser has been left out of direct feedback from lenders so it is up to us, the professional reviewers that work for the management company, to provide that feedback and help elevate the quality of the appraisals.”

Axios takes a different approach to how most AMC’s treat their relationships with their appraisers often reaching out to the appraiser at the time the order is placed and providing guidance on completing some of the more challenging appraisal assignments.  “Our motto is ‘we are here to help’ and that’s exactly what we do.  We want to provide positive and constructive advice so that the appraisals our clients receive are top notch.  Through our guidance and mentoring of the appraiser we can help elevate the appraiser’s work quality.”

The guidance continues through careful quality control reviews by our reviewers who have years of field experience.  “We want to change the image of the appraisal management company.  We want the appraiser to feel comfortable answering our calls and correcting review concerns in a timely manner.”
